I prefer Facebook over Twitter. I find most of the comments mindless and a waste of time. The CPL links are good -but will people use them?

I had trouble using Twitter - the message: "Twitter is over capacity" came up. It said to wait a few minutes, but when I went back I still couldn't use Twitter. Does this happen often?
I will definitely start using LibraryThing. This has been the most useful lesson so far. I am excited about using it!
I created a Google Calendar.

For now, I will stick to more traditional methods.
I have used YouTube many times and find it very user friendly, but of course, it would be easy to waste a lot of time on it. It's often useful when I am trying to explain a concept to a child, such as what goth makeup looks like.

Flickr also seems quite user-friendly, but I don't intend to use it, at least not at this point.
I was able to successfully set up an RSS feed. I do think this will make it easier to gather information, but it is also time-consuming. I suppose the more I use it the faster I will be at sifting through the info.

Google

I have tried Google Translate and liked it very much. I think I will use it a lot. I couldn't find anything I didn't like about it - it translates in both directions and has every language I could think of. I would recommend it to colleagues and friends.

Facebook

What do I think of Facebook? For the most part, I do find it to be a time-waster. The only thing I find useful is that I find out what my nieces and nephews are up to because teenagers tell you everything on Facebook. Does my niece have a boyfriend? She'll never tell me, but I can find out on Facebook!
